Diversity & Inclusion Project Manager
Mana Nakagawa runs strategic operations on the Diversity & Inclusion team at Facebook, where she leads and scales cross-functional D&I initiatives across the company’s global offices. Mana has also led key strategic initiatives for women’s diversity, developing women’s programs to support, grow, and retain women, as well as scaling Facebook’s women’s community and business resource groups globally. Prior to joining Facebook, Mana led international research efforts for the global bestseller book, Lean In: Women, Work and the Will to Lead, which contains different country-level data in each of the internationally published editions in over 50 countries. She has also served as an organizational behavior consultant to technology companies globally, and as a researcher for the United Nations Institute for Advanced Studies, UNESCO, and UNICEF, and served as a Fulbright Fellow to Japan. Mana holds a Ph.D. in International Education Policy from Stanford University, an M.A. in Sociology from Stanford, and a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Pennsylvania.
